Integrated and sustainable maintenance requires innovative engineering and detailed cost and weak point analyses for systems, components and processes as well as modern vulnerability management. In principle, vulnerabilities in the current maintenance process will be identified and assessed before measures for improvement are generated by our qualified staff.
PIHDAS – the Piepenbrock Maintenance Data Analysis System – has been developed in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation. Any scheduled maintenance such as servicing, inspection and repair is recorded in this system. In the case of a fault, the system records why the fault occurred, what the cause was and what effects the fault had on production.
As a classic top-down instrument, PIHDAS efficiently identifies the most vulnerable points in accordance with the objective. This process-oriented maintenance significantly improves machine availability, and with the ability to schedule production conditions, the client is able to keep the costs under control at all times.
